Montara, discount fix on a live store
Montara's bundle discounts were reaching shoppers who never used the bundle builder, so the offer gave away margin instead of growing orders.
This was Shopify development, not a visual redesign. The store's look is the client's existing theme. The discount logic runs in the cart and at checkout.
What they needed
A fix on Shopify's Basic plan, which does not allow a custom discount function, so it had to use standard Shopify features.
What we built
We replaced 11 automatic discounts with hidden codes that only the bundle builder can apply, turned four collection pages into bundle builders, and removed a cart message that promised a saving shoppers would not get.
Result
All 11 bundle prices checked at a real checkout on the live store, each one exact. A regular cart outside the builder now pays full price.
