Who we are
This policy explains how TechOnTouch, proprietorship of Ashit Jitendra Shah, GSTIN 27GBFPS9684N1ZD, 20/24, Room no. 15, Old Hanuman Lane, Mumbai, Maharashtra 400002, India, handles personal information. We decide why and how it is used, so we are the data fiduciary for the purposes of India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
What we collect
- Information you send us when you get in touch: your name, business name, email address, phone number and message.
- Material you give us for a project, such as text, photos and business details.
- Billing details needed for invoices, such as billing name, address and tax number.
- Payment details. When you pay by card, you enter them on a page run by Razorpay. We receive only a confirmation, the amount and the last four digits where your payment provider shares them. We never receive or store full card numbers.
- Basic technical records kept by our hosting provider when you visit the site, such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, used for security and to keep the site running.
Cookies and tracking
This site does not use advertising or analytics cookies and does not track you across other websites.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and prepare a quote or preview.
- To carry out a project and the care plan, and to send invoices and receipts.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting duties.
We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
Only with providers who help us run the business and only as far as they need it: Razorpay (card payments and invoices), our email and hosting providers, and our accountants and tax advisers. We do not sell or rent personal information. We may disclose information where the law requires it.
Where it is stored
We are based in India. Our service providers may store information in India, the United States or other countries, with safeguards that meet applicable law.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to a project are deleted within 24 months. Project and billing records are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires.
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, correct it, update it, or have it erased where we are not required to keep it. You can withdraw your consent to future contact at any time, as easily as you gave it. These rights come from India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and we give the same rights to clients in the United States. To use them, write to ashit@techontouch.in and we reply within 30 days.
Security
We use reputable providers, encrypted connections and limited access to protect your information. No method is perfectly secure, but we will tell you promptly if a breach affects your data.
Children
Our services are for businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

We acknowledge a complaint within 48 hours and resolve it within one month, and in any case within 90 days. If you are not satisfied with our answer you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India once that body is operating for complaints under the Act.
