Tree service website design
Homeowners call a tree service when a limb hangs over the roof, a dead tree needs to come down or a storm has dropped a trunk across the driveway. Before they call, they want to know that you are insured and that you handle jobs like theirs. We build the first version of yours before you pay.
What homeowners check first
Tree work is dangerous, and a mistake lands on the homeowner's house or fence, so insurance comes up before price. Homeowners look for proof of liability insurance, a certified arborist when the job involves a tree they want to keep, and photos of equipment that suits the size of the tree. They also check that you serve their town and that you take away the wood and debris.
Services
- Tree removal
- Whole trees, dead or leaning trees and trees close to houses and fences, with how you handle cleanup and the wood.
- Tree trimming and pruning
- Crown thinning, deadwood removal, clearance from roofs and shaping. If an ISA Certified Arborist does your pruning, say so here.
- Stump grinding
- Grinding below grade, removing the grindings and filling the hole, either with a removal or as a separate job.
- Land clearing and tree care
- Lot clearing, cabling and bracing, or tree health care, if you offer them.
Emergency storm work
After a storm, homeowners look for a tree service with a tree on the house or across the driveway, on a phone and sometimes with the power out. The site should load quickly and show your phone number, and whether you take emergency calls and at what hours, before anything else. If you work with homeowners' insurance companies on storm damage, say how in plain words.
Safety, insurance and certification
List your liability insurance and workers' compensation cover if you carry them, and offer to send a certificate of insurance on request. Where your state or city licenses tree work, show the license number. Name any ISA Certified Arborist on your team, and any industry membership you actually hold. Leave out anything you do not have.
Crew and equipment photos
In a tree service gallery, homeowners look at the tree before and after, the equipment used, such as a bucket truck, a crane or climbing gear, and how the yard looked when the crew left. Include photos of the cleanup; they answer a question homeowners often ask on the phone.
Estimate requests
A tree estimate usually needs someone to see the tree. The form asks for the address, the type of work and how many trees, and invites the homeowner to text or email a photo. Click-to-call on every page serves homeowners who would rather explain on the phone.
Local search
Search for "tree removal near me" and Google shows Business Profiles on a map first. Set your primary category to Tree service, list the towns you cover as your service area and post photos from recent jobs. Use one business name, address and phone number everywhere: the website, the profile and directory listings such as Yelp. Reviews that mention the job, such as a removal next to a house or a stump ground out, help homeowners judge whether you handle work like theirs. Link to those reviews from the site.
How we build it
We build the first version of your site from your services, your towns, your insurance details and your job photos, and send it to you on a link, at no cost. If you want to keep it, we quote it in writing in US dollars, and you pay once you have agreed the quote. Up to five pages go live on your own domain within 7 to 14 working days of receiving your content and payment, such as a home page, tree removal, trimming and pruning, stump grinding and storm work, and a contact page with the estimate form.
The domain is registered in your name. A yearly care plan looks after the domain, hosting, security updates and small changes, answered within 2 working days.
Questions
Should I list emergency service if I do not answer at night?
List only the hours you actually take emergency calls, and show the same hours on your Google Business Profile, so a homeowner who calls at night knows what to expect.
Can the site show that I have an ISA Certified Arborist?
Yes, if someone on your team holds the certification. The site can name them and the certification on the trimming and pruning page.
Do homeowners need to send photos of the tree?
It helps you prepare, so the estimate form invites them to text or email one. You can still visit before you give an estimate.
Can I add photos after each job?
Yes. Adding new job photos is a small change under the yearly care plan, answered within 2 working days.
What will the website cost?
Looking at the first version costs nothing. If you keep it, we quote the build and the care plan in writing in US dollars before you pay anything.
Tell us about your tree service and we will build the first version of your site. Our live client sites are on the Work page.
